Consumer Electronics adds housing perk for staff

The Consumer Electronics Association is betting that a happier staff has shorter commutes and lives closer to work. And the association is giving away $25,000 to prove it. CEA is offering all of its full-time employees the funds in a three-year forgivable loan to use as a down payment on a home near the trade groups Arlington, Va. headquarters. Out of the groups 150 staff members, three have already applied for the funds. Its an attractive benefit for staffers in an area with some of the highest home prices in the nation.
